Where can I get a single glass shelf like this one?

Hi,

I thought my stand searching pain had come to an end when I found the following on www.amazon.de, it's perfect for my needs, exactly the right dimensions. http://www.amazon.de/TV-Aufsatz-Aufl...9970718&sr=1-7
But guttingly when I checked out it stopped me and said they couldn't send it to the uk. I really want something simple like this and then I was going to buy a nice rectangle of hardwood to sit underneath it.

Has anyone seen anything like it? It was only £27!!

I did consider a single shelf from something like that yeah although that dimensions on that aren't big enough for 2 44cm av items, an apollo mezzo soprano base (2 shelves) would also be ideal but it's about 4 times the price of this. I can't believe that nobody in the uk sells something similar!?

Good idea, I'll try and contact Amazon as well just on the off chance I guess.

branny, sorry for the delay in replying, sadly I didn't get anywhere with the shelf either, I tried ordering from Amazon.de but they wouldn't ship that type of item internationally. Fortunately my wife is fluent in German so we found the seller of the item and from them got the manufacturer of the item, we emailed them but they wouldn't send it either, pretty gutting as it was ideal.

In the end I found a low bench unit that fit my alcove, it was in Argos of all places, it's not as good as a glass shelf could have been but it's a reasonable compromise.
