Anybody got a glass/metal rack in older type room?

Sorry about the long title! I'm just wondering if anybody has a modern glass/metal hi fi rack in a period type room (ie fireplace, traditional sofas)

If so any chance of a pic?

Thanks

Thanks Paul

I think it looks fine. Do you ever wish you had got a more traditional type of furniture to complement the room?

No not really. We`ve got a fair bit of Ikea birch dotted around the room and some modern art, so it all sort of mixes pretty well. Hunting down the perfect wooden rack/bench/cabinet etc is a mare in itself. Also the tv is modern so it`s just one of those things.

Re: Anybody got a glass/metal rack in older type room?

Hi,
I've just bought a corner chrome and glass rack from ebuyer to go in our 'older type' (chesterfields, brick open fireplace, steamer-trunk-as-coffee-table) living room. We were originally looking for something to match the 30's walnut radiogram we've got in the other alcove but couldn't find anything even remotely close. For £50 I thought it was worth trying the glass one...
Anyway, it's supposed to be delivered on Thursday so I'll take a pic and you can judge for yourself
Thanks,
Gaz
