Thanks: Gave 5, Got 362 | Ikea Oppli
Are there any units that are identical to the Ikea Oppli, but more "open" it's the perfect width, depth & height but my components get a bit warm inside.

Dont see how it's possible - if you want the same dimensions, it's already and open front and back... short of drilling holes in the top and bottom!!!

The units are a incredibly tight fit, with zero airflow on the sides. So something similar with poles on each shelf strut would be ideal. ie Apollo Aria in 1.5m form

Lookat the new "Oppli", the Ikea Besta - also has the advantage of lots of different sizes and can be fitted with doors and drawers for DVD's etc.
I just bought two of the 120 x 38 x 40 units in black/brown fitted four black/brown doors with frosted glass and legs. Left the back panel off the two central doors where the equipment is going.
All for under £150, remotes work through the frosted glass by the way.

thanks will have a look for one and see, don't think it will be wide enough at 120, my space is about 150 which was ideal for the oppli
have you got a direct link to the ones you bought, was it this? http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/20102149

The £10.00 charge is to cover our administrative expenses, including paying the shopping assistants to go buy the products from the store and arrange delivery, it also includes the fees we pay to process credit and debit card transactions.
| But Ikea stores dont do this model anymore ?????
