Recently received my surround system DAV-DZ830. Great system....love it!....well....I love it.....the WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor) is not as high as it could have been and this is primarily down to the size of the speakers....or more specifically...the speaker stand bases! They are rather large and are preventing me from snugly fitting the speakers in beside my TV stand.

Does anyone know if you can buy smaller speaker bases for this particular model of Sony surround system (long shot I know)?

Alternative to this is for me to try and source a smaller stand (smaller than the current Alphason AD3/105) but one that would still be suitable for a 40" LCD (and Xbox 360, DVD player and Sky HD box)! Again, does anyone have any recommendations?
