Thanks: Gave 0, Got 0 | Gentlemen (and Ladies) Thinking hats on please for a long low sideboard
Hi
Having real difficulties with my budget. I posted here a month or two back about a long low Italian sideboard - my wife has picked one, but I'm not paying the £5200 that the salesman with the mask and the black horse wanted.
the one picked is high gloss, glass top, in three sections - drop down doors on the outside units, two drawers in the middle - I've attached a pic which hopefully you can see. this unit is 3.6m wide, approx 60cm tall and 60 cm deep. oh, and the one she wants is a cream / stone colour
this is what we want, but ideally at no more than £2500 delivered and installed - can anybody suggest an alternative?
I appreciate your help as always

£5200, does that include a 60" plasma TV?

Shorley Ikea would be a good place to look for that kinda thing on a budget.

Try boconcept.co.uk, they also have a few stores - Bournemouth & Tottenham Court Road I've been to
The website and catalogue have some similar designs - you can also get customised designs

Lac shelf from IKEA, I like the oak one, tip it on its side and its a long narrow shelf type unit. Pop on some legs ofrm the bed department (about 4" oak) and it look a million dollars.
VERY well built will take anything as the wood is 5cm thick.

PS. I was looking at a custom bedroom place and they had a similar unit on display - fitted with a wall unit at head height too. So it might be worth you checking out your local fitted bedroom design place.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys
Having seen BoConcept I can report that the range is great, very modern, but they don't do the finish I want (Like a stone colour), they're self assembly and not built to the same standard as the B&B Italia stuff (but then again, one third of the price)
I'll try the bedroom route as well
keep the suggestions coming!
