Cheap TV Stand to house Onkyo 605 & 40" TV

Hi, went round ikea yesterday, and looked at Argos online today and can't find anything suitable. I'm after a cheapish TV stand, wood and or veneer in light or dark colours, (but not outright black or white,) to house a xbox360, DVD player, Onkyo 605 and a 37" Samsung.

However, the Onkyo seems to be causing issues with finding something suitable, due to its size. I'm getting no end of greif from the missus about it, so I'm asking if anyone has come accross anything suitable. Or do I have to hide the Onkyo away to a side somewhere and just get a regular TV stand?

IIRC the dimensions required are 435mm x 174mm x 377mm . It also needs a good 50mm above that 174mm for air clearance/cooling.

Thanks,
David

Re: Cheap TV Stand to house Onkyo 605 & 40" TV

Turns out the missus isn't keen on the glass look. Btw, my budget doesn't really go any higher than about £200, cheaper if possible.

An alternative I'm thinking of is getting a basic TV stand, so no prob with the amp size and then a hifi stand to put the amp/xbox/dvd/possible SkyHD etc in to the side of it.

Any more suggetions?

I'd love to build my own, but I'd need to get a nightclass on woodwork first methinks!
