Re: frustrated cabinet search

HI THERE
I was in a similar situation to you, i couldnt find anything to fit and i really did not want glass and chrome. So in the end i had one made to my own specifications so everything fits perfectly and the design is my own.
mine is made from kiln dried oak which is expensive an very heavy,it cost me £360 which i would have had to pay for a glass and chrome job anyway.
the cheapest way to do it is to find a pine furniture maker have it made to your own spec and stained whatever colour you want.
it was one of the best decisions i ever made

Re: frustrated cabinet search

Thanks from me too Mickyh
It's amazing what you can get done if you can find the right person. It looks solid, the colour nice and most of all it's exactly what you wanted it to be. Nice one.
