Curtain Help Please.....??

HI,

I've got myself a bit mixed up....

I've just decorated my listening room and all I need to finish it off is a nice pair of Brown/Chocolate velvet curtains.

My first question is.....

My window measures 90" wide by 50" drop....so what size curtains will I need for that I've been told to get a pair of 90 x 54 curtains but no where seems to sell curtains this wide so is this the wrong size. (I got told this wide to accomadte the pleats at the top )

If I do have to buy 90" wide curtains and the only ones I can find are 90 x 90 would I be able to have them taken up professionally?

If you have a Dunelm store near you they will make them to measure or alter the pre-made curtains they sell for you.

I doubt they would do that for you, you could always ask before purchasing some.

If you choose their cloth then they will make to measure; good prices too imo

I made a slight mistake (my fault for skim reading) our curtains are cream and brown not totally brown.

You should be able to find something there though
