Stand/Cab or ceiling mount needed for Pana TH50PH9 plasma (& equipment) - Prof help?

Hello all,

Unfortunately, as my wall is a ridiculously flimsy plasterboard affair where I want to put my new plasma screen, I can't wallmount, so I'm looking for a stand for the Panasonic TH50PH9. At the moment I don't have any sort of stand, but would be fine with getting a pedestal stand to put on top of a cabinet if that's the way to go. My budget is as yet undetermined, but I can stretch to a few hundred if need be. Quality and it looking good is paramount, while less espensive is always better than more expensive.

What I'd like is a glass stand of some kind (smoked glass would be nice but not essential) which would be able to hold my screen, and would have plenty of space for a centre speaker, Amp (the Onkyo TX-SR674E), DVD player and a couple of consoles somewhere.

Thanks for any help,
M-P

Hi,

I have the 900mm wide version of the Elite AV stand shown here www.sonus-systems.co.uk/av.html

It's clear glass with a slight green tinge and is in very good condition with no noticeable marks. I have a wall-mounted plasma now so the stand is redundant. If you're interested I can put it up for sale officially in the For sale forum. I paid £350 and am asking £120. You'd be hard pushed to see it wasn't new.

Cheers.

Re: Stand/Cab or ceiling mount needed for Panasonic TH50PH9 plasma (& other AV equipm

Hey all,

I'm still looking for something. It now appears I have two options:

Firstly, I could find a ceiling mount for the screen and buy a stand for all the equipment I'll have. I haven't see much in the way of ceiling mounts on the net and obviously I'd like this to be done by a professional.

Or:

2. Go for something built for me by a specialist, as I cannot find anything out there that will fit everything I want.

Basically, I'd like to know if there's any businesses out there who can help me with this task, and if either anyone could recommend a business to contact or if anyone who does this sort of thing reads this, to contact me?

Oh, and I live in East London.

Thanks for any help,
M-P

No I hadn't. But I have now, thanks!

It now looks like I can have a wall or ceiling mount, so going back to needing only one piece for all my AV equipment. Far easier!
