Alphason A94-2, Anyone Got One?, Comments Please!

I am considering getting this stand to go with a Panny 42PX70 as I do not like the official Panny stand.
Has anyone got one of these and wish to comment on how good they are.
I have not seen one "in the flesh" so am really interested in getting some feedback.
Also from the pictures it is hard to see if has feet or castors etc as most pictures seem to cut off the very bottom of the cabinet, can someone confirm arrangement and how manouverable the stand is once TV is fitted.
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated

Cheers

Hi

I just built my one last night. Overall build quality is good, everything fits together nicley and it has a good solid feel to it, thing weighs 36kg!

Only criticism would the the actual constuction of it was a bit fiddley at times and I needed an extra pair of hands to hold parts of the stand while I screwed some bolts together.

I'm planning on mounting a Sony KDL-40W2000 to mine

With regards to the base it has 5 plastic dome feet fitted to it, I can easy move it around on my laminate floor but I could see them digging into carpet due to the weight

I have one with my 42PX70. It's quite easy to move around. Alphason seem to be on a third version of the bracket fitting. The first one was a handlebar shape; the one I got last year was a 4 piece adjustable "square" arrangement; the latest one involves fixing 2 brackets to the panel then hooking the panel onto the main stand. If you contact them they will send you a pdf of the instructions so you can check it out.
