Re: Ikea friel

Anybody else got comments on this one? I'm thinking of getting one today and i'd like to know any internal measurements, if the legs are removable and if the surface is gloss white or more plain.

Thanks.

Re: Ikea friel

I have the Oppli TV stand from Ikea - I think it looks very smart, is low enough that the TV is at eye level when seated, once the shelves are filled with SKY HD box, PS3, etc. all the wires are effectively hided behind (unlike the glass stand I had before which expose the mess and tangle of cables). Friends are impressed and some have bought one after seeing mine.

The castors make it easy to move on wooden floorboards - and at 60 quid it's incredibly cheap (although far from cheap-looking) compared to the glass stands which, to me, look ugly in comparison and cost 3 x as much.

Hope this helps.

Well no not really as you are talking about a totally different stand

Re: Ikea friel

Does anbody have the internal dimension for this unit then? Also a good photo showing the actual finish -- is it shiny white or just like a standard white MDF type finish?

I'm looking to get one but would be buying online rather than visiting the Sunday nightmare that is Ikea.

Re: Ikea friel

Not got the internals but you can see from below what fits in it. It's not reflective shiney but it nicely matches my Ikea gloss white kitchen.

OMG - did I really say that
