I have placed order for Sharp 42" LCD tv just now[ excited]. I dont have any clues regarding 'LCD STANDS'. Help needed

I have a black glass optima stand which I replaced with a wooden unit last month.Its suitable for upto 50"

Theres nothing wrong with it...you can have it for free if you want to collect.

This stand unlikely to be suitable it is rated suitable for up to 32" Plasma/LCD and is unlikely to be strong enough to hold a 42" that weighs considerably more.

Just fyi, as could be costly otherwise.

I opted for the GT-5B and am extremely impressed with it. I think ebuyer and some other retailers are knocking them out for approx £60 - £70 (an absolute bargain)!!

Thanks I just bought it. Seems like its all over the place now I've bought it... Ebuyer only sells the clear glass one though at £50. It also says the dimensions are different...
