Aaargh!
Having a complete nightmare regarding a suitable tv stand /cabinet

I have been looking for a tv stand or cabinet (for ages now) that is going to fit in the space we have AND is deep enough to hold a denon amp - cant find a bl**dy thing within budget.


I cant be alone - has anyone found anything suitable?


I know these measurements sound precise but basically its got to be about a meter wide and deep enough, and with enought shelf space to hold av equipment!

It can be glass / pine / flatpack.... ANYTHING!

total width 105 cm (max) - preferably as near to that as possible so it 'fills' the alcove.
shelf depth 45 cm min (but upto about 60cm is cool)
shelf height 20 cm

Needs to hold :
dvd player and sky+ box stacked on top of each other
denon amp
center speaker - 29 cm wide 11 cm tall

So either two wide shelves (av equipment on one and speaker on the other) or 3 shelves (amp, dvd & sky, speaker)


Budget is about £150 max

Anyone got any suggestions?
What do you denon owners have?

Tried Ikea etc but its either too wide or too shallow.

Do you have a local pine shop, have you asked them to make something to order? they are normally very reasonable.

I had an 80cm by 40 cm by 50 cm made to order and stained for £90.

Dont think so, looked for one in the local directory and online 'local' listings.

They are popular amps - someone must have the same size and budget constraints surely.....
