hi there how much is a bit of safety glass about a metre by half a metre roughly?

making a tv cabinet just need the glass for the front and the shelfs



just need a sort of guide price to work from

I usually pay about £15 for 6mm (Tinted) safety glass at around a third the size you're looking for. That's from a local glass and glazing company. I once needed a piece of 10mm safety glass to sit on top of a carved table but that was 1 metre round and cost best part of £140!
I know this price is higher than your general 'send off to one of the big manufacturers' type places but the workmanship is far better.

I would guess less than £50. I'm sure I paid £140 for 1000 x 600 x 6 and 2400 x 1000 x 6
