Re: Vivomounts

I have never had dealings with them, but you can buy the same stand from amazon.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Vitalalian-P...&s=electronics

That's an excellent price for that stand. Judging by the feedback it may not be made from metal (Painted MDF?)

Re: Vivomounts

That's really strange as I've been looking at this stand in the last few days too and I emailed the company asking why they're selling a stand for £80 with a picture of the Spectral 152 stand which costs £800.

The two pictures on the vivo site are actually from the same original photo if you check out the reflections in the glass. However the dimensions of the stand don't match (Vivo h1200 w1100 d550, Spectral h760 w1400 d540)

Their answer.....

"We do not know of the Spectral stand."

Hmnnn...

Anyway I've taken a risk and ordered the stand. Comes to £100 including postage.

I would be interested to know what you receive perhaps you would let me know. They are not alone in using the spectral photo, also found on amazon and ebay. The Spectral brochure can be downloaded from their site http://www.spectral-moebel.de/ for those who may be interested.

Re: Vivomounts

I too would be very interested to know what you receive. I really like the look of that Spectral stand, but it's not cheap. Something similar for £100 would be perfect.

Re: Vivomounts

Got the stand on Tuesday, not had a chance until now to post.

Box arrived by TNT courier. Luckily my neighbour knew the delivery driver and took the package as my wife and I were both at work.

Package was taped up with lots of "breakable" warning tape but there were still a couple of areas where the box had been dented.

Instructions were poor but the stand was not too difficult to put together.

The stand feels very light and is easy to move around. The pole which you mount the TV on can be rotated as well which might be quite handy.

There is a cable tidy in the stand but I think this is of limited use; you can't fit a scart cable through it for example.

Communication from Vivomounts was poor. I sent an email requesting delivery on Thursday (as we were in all day today) but got no reply. I didn't even get an order confirmation, only the automatic card transaction confirmation from Worldpay who processed the transaction.
