Alternatives to Habitat Memphis cabinet?

Really like the look of the Habitat Memphis cabinet www.habitat.net

It's come down in price since last time I was looking to £279, but wondered if there was anything out there very similar but maybe in a dark wood veneer rather than black or white. Cheaper is a bonus too

Sure I saw something very simlar from Ikea, but can't find it on site anymore.

Have a look on the Dwell website. There's a cabinet on there that may be a good alternative. It's currently priced at £225 so not a lot cheaper but cheaper nonetheless!

There's also the Alphason from the Plasma Centre which is up for £172.73.

Good luck!

Re: Alternatives to Habitat Memphis cabinet?

I was looking at the Habitat one last week. I really like the style and finish, but the left and right panels are big drawers, not doors and shelves. Really annoying! Plus for some reason in Ireland it costs over €100 more than in the UK. We aren't getting an Ikea on the island of Ireland til November

Thanks for that, that Alphason one looks quite nice, hadn't looked at them as I assumed they only really made the glass/ally stands like I already have.
Might be a better width as well, as depending where we decided to wall mount the LCD will depend how wide the unit can be.
