In search of wooden cabinet under £200 - please help

Having a nightmare

I have done all the Googling a guy can do and still coming up empty handed.

We are looking for a wooden TV cabinet that can hold our forthcoming purchases of:

Denon AVR1907 (quite big by all accounts)
Sky+ box
DVD player (undecided model)
and support the weight of a Sharp LC42XD1E LCD (42", 32kg)

Trouble is we only have about £200 max for the cabinet and my wife doesnt want a glass cabinet as wont look right it our living room.

Everywhere I look they cost about £300-500 - is there anywhere ANYONE can recommend I look?

Many thanks for any replies

Do you actually own one?

If so could you please tell me the height/depth/width measurements of the shelf? As the measurements given appear to be for the unit itself.

Just need to ensure that my stuff will fit in it

Thanks again for the reply.

I had to have one with doors, 2 little ones who just love pressing buttons I went for an Ikea benno. It's quite deep, with plenty of room. I've got my amp, dvd & sky+ on one side of it. The other side the wife stores various rubbish in. Was a bargain £69.

I also have the Benno from the last link.

I have my very huge Sony amp, Xbox 360, Wii and still have a shelf I dont use. It used to have a 32" Sony Trinitron CRT on it before and that weighs a LOT. Now has 40" Sony Bravia on it.

Check out the pics of my setup.

Only downside is that the 360 overheats in there as no airflow so have to keep the door open slightly.

As last poster said it is very very deep.

I am looking to sell mine soon as Im going to wall mount my LCD. If interested PM me and ill put a post in the for sale section.

Ta
