Question Glass Stand for 37" LCD

Thanks to everyone that's posted messages relating to glass av stands - they've all been really useful in deciding where to buy and I am looking to purchase one from Novatech.

One query - I can't decide between the GT4B (100cm) and the GT5B (120cm) for a 37" LCD. The LCD is 94.5 cm wide. Can anyone recommend what would look best? Both are the same price on the website.

Thanks

Re: Glass Stand for 37" LCD

Hi smc123456,

Both good choices - I have the GT-4B and are over the moon with it.

The only advice I can give is to think where the stand is going to sit and measure both 100cm and 120cm and see what fits best. It is also worth measuring your TV width wise and deciding whether you want a overhang or not.

I am sure you will be delighted with either - they really are excellent stands and for that sort of money you are having a laugh!

Also, how much kit you have. My 50 inch overhangs by about 5cm each side but looks fine on the GT5. I was worried about overhang and how bad it would look but it's so negliable

Clear ones are cheaper from ebuyer *i think*

Hi Coolio

Not too much kit to go on the stand - xbox 360, ntl box home cinema dvd and centre speaker. I think the GT4B is the one to go for as I've just measured where it's going. There shouldn't be any overhang as the tv is 94.5 cm so should fit fine.

I've seen the clear ones on e-buyer and with delivery they're not that much cheaper (about £10) and the reviews of them aren't that great. Quicker delivery with Novatech *apparently*
