Custom Design RS300 - speaker stands!

I thought I will post few pics and will write a couple words as somebody might be interested. I got my stands yesterday absolutely free form here, another day I bought Mordaunt-Short speaker package from them and they gave me £150 voucher to spend in shop, so I ordered 2 pairs of RS300 stands. As you can see from shops information they come in 2 colours and 2 heights and also you can choose between steel and glass base. I took black ones with steel base (510mm). When I was looking on picture on website I wasn’t too keen about these stands, but then I checked WHAT HI FI magazine and found out that they gave 5 stars to these stands, but still I quite didn’t liked the design of stands. Anyway I took a plunge and ordered them (I wasn’t paying for them anyway, so couldn’t loose much ). I was very surprised how good they actually look; the picture on web is far away from how they actually look in real life. They are very simple build, but the same time they look a million and are very solid. If you have £100 to spend on speaker stands look no further, for £74 these are cracking stands, if you fancy you can pay a little bit more and get ones with glass base and they still are under £100 mark.

Now, after I have seen them in real life, I would be happy to spend my money for these stands without thinking twice .

And now enjoy pics .

I measured stands and with base and top spikes added its gives you 535mm height, 510mm is from base to top with no spikes added.
