went to currys at weekend, they have a offer on to get any tv stand half price, as long as you buy any TV. So i brought a casio handheld Tv for £19.99 and got my new floating glass stand down from £299.99 to £149.99. they were not happy but as i explained to them you sign say's " with any Tv"
had the manager out and he but his 3 penny's worth in but they relised they have shot themselves in the foot on this one!!! LOL.. Happy shopping guys..

Got the stand half price (£149) with the Sammy LE40R7 (£899).

When speaking to the SA, she said 'ooh, that stand is £300'. However, when she looked on the computer it said half price. So I bought the stand on it's own with the intention of going elsewhere to buy the TV. Ended up going back to Currys for the TV anyway as Comet had sold the last one and Currys said they'd price match before we left.

So you shouldn't have to buy a TV to get the stand half price. This was Boxing day tho, so the offer may have finished.
