SPeakers stands- Attaching speakers

I put my rear surround speakers on atacma nexus 700's yesterday.
npthing seems to secure the speaker to the top plate?
is this normal.

I am worried my almost 3 year old daughter may knock them and the speaker fall off.

Wondering the best way of securing that will allow removal later.

Thin double sided tape.
drill some small screw holes in plates and screw speakers on from underside.

Speakers are Evo one's

Ideas welcome.

Perhaps I am panicing and gravity is best

Re: SPeakers stands- Attaching speakers

If the speakers are fairly heavy then blu-tack is excellent. After a few hours they should be firmly, and i mean firmly, attached to the stands. This is what i use, and i believe many others, and have had no issues.

Re: SPeakers stands- Attaching speakers

I also use blu tack, better than drilling holes and tape loses tackyness
