After a wide, low tv unit for my 40X

Hi all

I have recently bought a Denon 301 system and about to order a Sony 40X. The only thing that i am undecided about is the tv stand. Ideally i would like it in dark wood but i am open to suggestions.

More importantly i would like it quite wide and low, most i have seen are 180cm wide, this one is my current favourite:

I have also found one at 200cm wide here:

http://www.arenafurniture.co.uk/products.asp?partno=571

I prefer the dwell one cause i like the two gaps above and below each other rather than one big gap.

I have seen some other lovely ones but way out of my price range, i think 500 would be my max.

Anybody seen anything out there which i may have missed?

Check out the stuff in the Ilva catalogue. http://www.ilva.co.uk/uploads/i_kata...ffile_5076.pdf

The walnut "Aero" stuff on page 13 is nice!

I was in the same boat as you and your right, there is not much available in dark wood but in the end i went for this;

The item i won was not on a buy it now as the one in the link is and i managed to get it for almost half that price.

Hello
I do not want to break the rules concerning self promotion but I do sell dark wood low tv stands for up to 42 INCH - 175 cms wide.
I am not including a hyper link or company brand name, but if you are intersted and the moderator agrees, I can give you further details.

Re: After a wide, low tv unit for my 40X

Hi
No, they are manufactured in Vietnam - Very popular in the US where they tend to have larger living space. I imported them on consignment basis as it's a good design but now a little worried that maybe too wide for the average UK living room.. I will selling them next year as wholesale, not retail.
That's why I do not want to bang on too much about the brand name and so on - do not want to upset the board or the forum's advertisers who paying for banner ads and pay per click.

To be honest, I am looking more for feedback what people think of the design rather than selling for profit...I was looking at the forum to get an idea of the market, what's hot and so on..If you want an image and colour swatch more than happy to send you one.

As I said, I have marketing in mind more than selling...

You can happily send me the information direct as I am interested.

That is me asking you so that hopefully should not offend anyone.

PM will do.
