Max Weight on stand

Hi all,

I ordered the below stand a couple of weeks ago and am just waiting for novatech to get them in stock!

I bought a Denon AVR-3802 yesterday, and found it really heavy! On the box it says its 19.5kg. I was just wondering, will this stand be able to carry all of my av system? i.e. TV, Amp, dvd player, sky box, vcr and cassette player?

Its weird because in the title it says the top shelf is 10mm, and lower shelves 8mm. But inthe overview, it says the lower shelves are 6mm!

HELP!!!!

Re: Max Weight on stand

Since no-one else has responded, try this:

Put all your equipment on the stand. If it doesn't take the weight, then it is not fit for the purpose for which it was sold, in which case the supplier is obliged to refund you your money. Of course, all your equipment could be knackered, but hey, you can't have everything!

Seriously though, it states 200kg+ on the page you linked to. I think it will hold everything you've got & a bit more besides...

I will try putting one bit of equipment at a time! and see what happens!

I have emailed Novatech to see if they have any info on the matter.

Smile Re: Max Weight on stand

I had a Gale Vetro rack from Richer Sounds

http://www.richersounds.com/showbigp...ame=301424.jpg

where the glass shelves were only supported right at the back. I was concerned about the weight but it worked fine, I put my Pioneer AV receiver on the bottom shelf, then DVD recorder, VHS recorder, Sky+ box, cassette recorder etc, all standard size kit, on the other shelves, very gingerly I might add.

All was fine, I stopped using it because of the mass of cables, the central support had cable management but only small access holes. Good luck.
