Center Speaker Stand - no not a cabinet, just a stand

After much searching on this forum and much much Googling I still can't find a dedicated center speaker stand.

The issue is that I am a projector user. So there is no TV to put it on or AV cabinet to put it in. All the AV equipment is behind me. All I have is a lovely big white wall with left and right speakers stood at the sides on some nice stands and center sitting in the middle on a box. Aaarrgghh!. I suppose I could just buy a table and put it on top but it would look so much better to have a proper stand.

It needs to be about 18 inches tall, about 18 inches wide and 6 inches deep, i.e shaped like a center speaker. That sort of width is bigger than most standard stands. And no, I can't use brackets as I can't attach anything to the wall.

I have found some stands that it would fit on but they all come in pairs as they are designed for large stereo speakers. It seems a bit pointless buying two and throwing one away. If anyone is having the same problem and wants to split a pair with me let me know though.

So, any suggestions?

What speakers do you have?

Re: Center Speaker Stand - no not a cabinet, just a stand

B&W make a wide centre channel speaker stand for their 800 range of speakers which may be of use depending on the size of your speaker.

The dimensions (from their Website) are.
Height :295mm
Width: 521mm
Depth: 312mm

As the speaker sits quite low, it can be angled upwards towards your listening position and get a choice of black or silver finishes.

I've been considering one for my Nautilus HTM1 but the bad news is they cost about £300. This may not be so bad as the probably only sell in limited numbers. My local dealer had to look up his catalogue to confirm they actually made one as I was the first person to ask about them.

Here’s a link to the stand…

Thanks for the replies guys. It's a Mission M3C2.

The B&W stand looks perfect but £300 is way over budget. I'm looking to spend £100 max.

What about one of these you can only buy them in pairs (i think) but a short one with some foam angling the speaker upwards slightly could do the job?

I did think about one of these for my HTM1 centre but in the end went for the B&W stand which is perfect for a centre speaker imx.
