TV Stand Rack with doors?

Dont have the exact size requirements but will need to support a 28in LCD (when I buy one!). Thing is I want one with doors and where ever I look I can't find them with doors, there are all "open" in design, I would rather hide my equipment. It also has to be corner unit rather than a rectagular job.

I have looked at Dixons/Currys, Richersounds, John Lewis, Ikea nothing really catches my eye. Any ideas who sells such a thing?

What's your budget? <£100? £250-300? £700 or more?

Re: TV Stand Rack with doors?

less than £100.

Basially it needs to fit in a corner (triangular), needs to fit 4 items (Humax PVR/TOSH DVD/SONY AMP/NTL BOX + more if possible). Any I want it walled with doors to hide the conents and keep the contents dust free - it aint easy cleaning around the units and their cables.

Found this site

...but I do like this one "Optimum LCD6504SL". It doesn't have the doors, but nice and slim with 3 shelves, Idont really want to go this way but may have to!

At that price level, difficult I'm afraid.

If it was me I'd probably get the Ikea Leksvik (I think) and get a pair of smoked glass doors made at my local glass supplier. Then fit them and rear panels myself.

But that would probably run out at nearer £180 - £200

Hey nice idea on the LEKSVIK, it looks the part!!! I am going to check out the sizes, I never really thought about adding bits myself.

Cheers!

Re: TV Stand Rack with doors?

the LEKSVIK is too big! The last unit is had was 91cm and that was too wide, the LEKSVIK is about 100cm so no chance. I may just have to go for an open type stand then.

Re: TV Stand Rack with doors?

Maybe keep a watch on the classifieds and ebay if you would consider second hand (and can carrry!), in case a suitable arca or quadraspire comes up cheap

....OOPS! I dont think they do corner ones, sorry
