Strange request?? Where can I get JUST legs and TOP shelf???

Hi all. I am hunting high and low to find somewhere that can supply just the legs for a glass tv stand.

Simply put, I am wanting to mount a Glass shelf on top of my oppli Ikea tv bench to take my Panasonic 42PX60, so I can have extra items stored under it.

I am only needing the Legs and the Top shelf so don't want to spend fortunes on a stand only to use half of it. Also the height of the legs needs to be about 10cm at most.

Can anyone suggest a suitable tv/av stand that I could take apart no more than £50 that would take the weight of my tv.

Get a glass shelf. If you can't find one big enough, your local glass supplier should be able to cut and polish a suitable piece for you.

For "legs", you could use a couple of pieces of 4x2 timber, stained to match the finish of your existing stand. Rather than using 4 legs, use a piece running the full depth of the shelf, front to rear, at each end.

B&Q do a range of table legs in different styles and sizes, not sure how you'd fit them to the glass though. Clockworks method would probably best, unless the glass supplier could drill the glass in the appropriate places.
