How to paint cable trunking?

Basic question but do I need to prepare the trunking that I will be using to house my rear surround cabling? Its standard B&Q plastic stuff and I will be using a Crown Emulsion to match the wall.

Thanks...

Re: How to paint cable trunking?

I used normal matt paint, no prep went on a treat. You may have to give it a couple of coats though.

Re: How to paint cable trunking?

TNX the first pic on the page "cinema room" has the trunking running up the wall to the rear left surround, as you can see it blends in quite well.
