Yep, looks fantastic

Puts my home cinema to shame

is that in a spare bedroom? or your lounge?

no its a dedicated homecinema room built onto the side of my house, the speaker wires are inside some conduit that was placed in the build before plastering and decorating. The room measures 5.5 metres x 3.5 metres i have posted some pics of the build somewhere on the avforums website?

Re: £79.99p reclining chair with footstool

I saw the boxes at the Morrisons in Stamford today, looked so so from the cover.
Your talents are wasted, Morrisons would sell many more of them with your photos on the boxes!

Did you see the TV stands while you were there, just assembled mine tonight, details on another thread, well pleased .

Regards

Re: £79.99p reclining chair with footstool

Snap I got one of these last week. I had £150 that I was going to spend on a chair but when I saw this I just had to get. Then I spent the rest on a new remote control. So I was more than happy finding this bargin.

I don't think the seat/face is made of leather, it feels more like plastic to me. Though it's cumfy to sit on and cheep, so im not bothered.

Re: £79.99p reclining chair with footstool

No they don't move up/down and there also quite low, the arm-rest is about level with my knee, about 20" off floor level and the seat is about 15" . They recline and swivle. The recliner mechanism can be locked in place with a twist knob, either upright, reclined or anywhere in between.

so you dont think that the seat faces are leather even though it says so on the outside of the box, mmmmmm trade descriptions spring to mind

the adjustable knob for the reclining mechanism is for adjusting the resistance
so if you are heavy then you need more friction on the sliding tube because if you are a fidgiter then every time you moved the chair would move position.

Re: £79.99p reclining chair with footstool

So thats what the twist knob is for , I just used it to it lock it into a suitable position and made it really tight, it does me just fine.

As for the leather, well my parents have a leather sofa set and it feels nothing like theirs, Even the parts that are hard still feel really soft and supple. My chair on the other hand does not, it just feels like plastic. It could acctually be leather but it doesn't feel like it to me and for the price im not bothered. If I complained and took it back I'd be sat on the floor . So whether it's really cheep leather or plastic I don't care, it's better than the floor.

Re: £79.99p reclining chair with footstool

How do you guys rate these chairs, also could someone do me a favour please?

Just need the measurements of seat to floor and also arms to the floor, so I can ensure it fits under my desk

Thanks.

why dont you buy one.

take it home.

assemble it.

test it.

if it doesent work then take it back, morrisons are not gonna quibble over a

£80 chair, ok its a bit of hassle for you, but you end up with a good chair or yer money back,

if i was in your shoes i would do this....

Pronto, what type of Morrisons store did you buy the chairs from. I've been to 4 stores and none of them sell them. They looked at me as though I was crazy for even asking.

Ian.

I bought one of these a few months ago, only one of its kind I could find

http://www.misco.co.uk/productinform...L%20CREAM.htm#

£135 was not bad at that time, considering the argos version "one in this post" was £180 and no stock anywhere...

Well the one I have, similar to this has the metal base pole pushed through a welded chair frame, where it swivels but i wouldn't recommend using the reclining feature on it, the welding might come away due to stress...

Some uber bumpage here but I'm in need of a chair, what are your thoughts on this chair? I can't seem to find a black version of it?

Are there any similar chairs out there?

Cheers
