Hi,

Can anyone help me out here?! Am desperately searching for an AV rack cabinet - I need something with at least four shelves (am planning to have it sat under the centre of the wall mounted plasma and have the centre speaker sat on the top) needs to be enclosed and have an (ideally) lockable glass door.

The only thing I've been able to find so far is a quadraspire Q4 stand which I can only find for £500 and was hoping to spend a tad less than that!

Any help greatly appreciated, rugrat is due in Dec so am going to need to have my AV locked away before he/she starts to explore!

Ikea used to do one , but its probably been discontinued now . IIRC it was part of the BONDE range . Was less that £100 I think

I was desperate and in a hurry as the baby was crawling so I bought one of these.http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/store...roductId=10198
Works fine, my 32" CRT TV sits on top and all my gear goes inside.
I bought a X brace from the IVAR range and used that instead of the hardboard back which makes wiring easier and helps to lose heat.

I saw a dark brown wood TV stand , with lockable glass doors in B&Q today . It was up too high for me to get a good look , but it had 4 shelves , 2 sliding glass doors . It was £80 and called sorrento iirc

Quadraspire's QK Cabinet or QKAV have lockable doors.

I have the cabinet. Pretty good but is getting a bit cramped in there, so might upgrade to the QKAV. Not cheap though!
