Where are all the OAK AV table designs!?!

At the moment i have on of those low IKEA AV units that everybody on these forums has.

Whilst I like the shape, I think the actual materials look cheap and a bit naff. I would really like to recreate it with railway sleepers or something rustic and oak. I recall seeing something similar in Camden for about £2000 grand a few years ago!

Has anyone got links to any designs like this on-line?

I would really like to wall mount my plasma and have all my AV stuff in a really nice wooden unit low on the floor...

Help appreciated.

Take the dimensions of what you have and call up local carpenters (or more accurately cabinet makers) and see what it would cost you.
BTW there is a forum here for memorabilla and cabinets a couple of clicks up that may yield more results.

thanks for the responce guys (and girls!).

not quite seen what i am after yet. i want something that is quite low, with lots of storage and that looks a little bit rustic..

can't seem to find anything online whcih is disappointing.
