Hanging 32 inch Samsung to plaster wall?

Hi,

I ned to hand my Samsung 32 LE32R51BD LCD tv on a plaster board wall with only 1 vertical joist. The joist is centrally positioned to where i want to hang tv.

Can anyone reccomed a decent, well priced flush bracket which will secure safely to joist and distribute remainder weight on plaster board.

Cheers!

the best way of fixing a wall bracket to a single vertical studd would be to cut some 18mm plywood to the dimensions of the metal wall bracket, then run a bead of gripfill addeshive around the perimeter of the plywood and fix with large wood screws into the vertical studd.you can then fix your metal wall bracket to the plywood backing.if you paint the plywood to blend in with your wall it wont be noticeble.

Good advice arfon.jones.

You need to make sure that the bracket you purchase is of good quality and secure enough, whilst providing different options for mounting onto the wall on the actual back plate itself.. (Due to the specific nature of your mounting needs.)

This bracket would fit your TV perfectly if you are still looking..
