isolate AV rack ?

hi guys,

just got a new AV rack. question is, it will be standing on a wooden (laminate) floor. should I try to isolate it in the same way as a subwoofer (for example), by standing it on a slab / marble tile type thing ? or is it OK just to stand the spikes on a 2p coins to stop them damaging the floor ?

cheers

Stu

I have my Sound Organisation AV rack standing on top of 5p coins (only because they are silver and blend in better than copper coins) It looks better than a paving slab and if you have to move your rack for any reason, it will slide along the floor on the coins without causing any damage. Just be careful the coins dont slip out from under the rack when moving it.
