Talking 35 Kilo Wall Bracket... Bargain

Have been looking for a wall bracket for my new JVC LT 37DS6BJ
About £50 for the cheapest £200 for an all singing, dancing one.....aye right I'm gonna pay that for a wall bracket...being an engineer, was going to make one up out of aluminiun... a bit of work but would be worth it...then was walking through Tescos on Saturday , noticed brackets for LCD's up to 35 Kilos for £20....bargain, bought it...hung it...no problems and far cheaper than anywhere else

Hope this help someone else

Has your tv fallen down yet?

Which make/model is the bracket and how big is your tv? I assume it will be available in most Tesco's..?

Thx

SteviebHoy,
I've got the same bracket - £19.99, came in a small box, very neat and holds the set close to the wall....

Been holding a 42" lcd set on a plasterboard wall for the past three months -

Absolute bargain!

Arthur,
My Toshiba was 37 kilos (ish) but that weight included the stand.

I took the stand off and that weighed over 6 kilos on it's own, meaning the weight of the TV then was less than the maximum recommended...

Mine has held mine up on the wall for the past two months with no signs of it coming away....I did use several heavy duty bolts into the wall and pulled myself up on it before I risked the TV!

@flashman.

many thanks for your reply

i think your lcd is about the same weight as the sony (its my son's)

i did intend putting strong rawbolts in the wall to hold it up.

Cheers, I copied the above info into a search engine and ended up at the link below

http://www.morpethmobiles.co.uk/prod...prod=MM740/X10

I assume this is it, although this add says the LCD TV is not included...daahhhh!! - and you'd have thought for £70 it was the least they could do.

Hi,

I have a 32inch Samsung LCD which i need to put on a plaster board wall. There is only one vertical joist behind plaster board which is positioned central to where i want to hang tv

Will this bracket be safe to use??

Also why is it so cheap whereas other bracket cost £50+
