got the stand today but it is a slightly different mount at the back of the set and dont think it would be that easy to modify without making a new bracket

Took the tv off its own stand and i think you could unscrew the bracket and fit it to the wtl58 stand by drilling a few holes.I didnt want to take my stand to bits by the way but i think it should work.

How about buying the Toshiba stand for this TV?
http://www.empiredirect.co.uk/ and search for MV3WL66
I ordered one last night and got an email today saying it will be delivered tomorrow! For £118.64 plus £4.99 delivery it seems like pretty good value to me.
Just a shame that John Lewis can't deliver my new 32WLT66 until 2nd May....

Thought about that but i prefered the 3 shelve stand.Fitted the one from argos and using the lower arms as a 3rd shelve.Looks pretty good

I was going for a stand where the TV simply stood on it but my missus is a cleaning fanatic and she would be pulling the damn thing out of the corner each week to vacuum. I just knew she'd topple the TV at some point!
At least using the Tosh stand the TV's actually attached!!!!

Anyway I''m calmly waiting for my TV to come and hoping it's as good as I've read about.....

There's some on P12 and 13 of the main WL66 thread: The Toshiba 32/37WL66 & 32/37WLT66 thread

Personally, I think it looks awful and that the "58" stand was much better. The "58" stand doesn't accomodate the "66", which is giving me a bit of a dilemma as I want the TV, but hate the official stand.

Does the official stand for the 32WLT66 come with all the screws needed to fix the LCD to it?

Anyone know?

Cheers

You don't need extra screws - basically the support for the TV on the official stand is the same as the tabletop stand which comes with the TV. You simply unscrew the tabletop stand and use the same screws to fit the set on the floor stand.

Hope this helps.

Could anyboy confirm whether the MV3WL66 stand has any kind of cable management in the rear support? Looking at the pictures it's difficult to see whether it's possible to hide the cables - the rear support seems to be solid.

I had a look at this stand in local shop and can confirm there is a slot cut out at the back of the stand for cables to go through and then there are caps which go over the slot to keep it in place. However there are no holes from the shelves to get the cables through, they have to go around the side of the post.

I think I may buy one of these. Does anybody know the best price?
