Sofa or Chairs?

My dedicated room is nearing completion, I can decide on what seating to have, there are only two of us so I'm inclined to put a couple of chairs in, however we do have friends and family that come over to watch films.

My wife is swaying towards a 3/4 seater sofa but I would go with three chairs, either way all positions need to be reclining. That's where the sofa is letting me donw a little as the side positions recline but the centre does not.

I have a space of 220-230cm to play with, any suggestions?

I was in the same kind of situation. I wanted cinema chairs, wife wanted a sofa.

In the end we went for a sofa with a chaise on one end

It's a tough one, big leather chairs as so much more comfy, I've just sat in a couple and could imagine a couple of movies sessions being really nice in one of these.

The centre seat on a 3 seater sofa just isn't the same.
