I use shelves for my DVD's - I can find them quicker. I have one of the Argos ones for my CD's, but I didn't realise just how heavy the "drawers" would be when full.

As Nick most of My DVDs are on shelves the ones in the picture I got from Ikea, its actually 4 small shelves placed together each one holds aprrox 60 DVD's and costs £20. The unit in the alcove has been replaced by one of these which was only £25 and holds 160 DVD's:

I have a couple of these http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/store...61*15639*15651
They hold 88 dvd's or 180 cd's, I've got to get about 5 more soon.

i have 8 of these from argos, approximately 6 foot tall by 1 metre wide bookshelves, £25 each. ideal for large cd and dvd collections. you can pile a load more cds and dvds on top. you can get about 300 dvds on one of them, or about 900 cds

Try this, only prob you have to take discs out of cases. so youll need to store the cases out of the way in a box somewhere.LOL
