USM Haller Cabinets

Hello,
Does anyone have/seen this product before? someone mentioned it to me as a solution to my cabinet issue to store my VCR, DVD PLayer, dvds as i have a hitachi 42PD5300 which is wall mounted and need a stylish cabinet to house the other stuff. Also need to know if the cabinets can be customised.

thanks

Yes, I've seen these at the Aram Store, Drury Lane.

Totally customizable, very stylish.

There's a USM website, but better to see for yourself by dropping in to Aram if you're in London.

I'm considering moving over to this storage system in due course.

These units are configured to suit individual requirements, so costs can vary considerably.

I'm interested in having additional general purpose shelving and storage, as well as housing the AV components. The configurations I looked at were somewhere in the region of £1500-3000+.

Be aware that the units are based on a metal construction. I'm not sure whether they'd be ideal for housing speakers, because of possible vibration. Not an issue in my case, as my display and front speakers are wall mounted, and well away from the rest of the kit.

In the end I spent most of my available budget on the AV components themselves, but I'll be back...
