32 inch LCD TV wall mount (200x200)

Hi

I am looking to buy a wall mount for my LCD tv. It is a 32 inch LE32M51B from samsung. On the back it has the capability to take either a 200x100 mount or a 200x200 mount.

The TV weighs about 16Kg. Any reccomendations of a good wall mount to use, preferably one with an arm.

All I seem to be able to find is mounts for massive plasma screens or computer LCD monitors (VESA 75 or 100)

Thanks

I was thinking somthing along the lines of http://www.av-sales.co.uk/BTECH-BT75...502-191-26.htm but not sure if that would be a safe bet seeing as it says up to 27 inches.

Still a bit on the pricey side. I was hoping to find somthing around £40. It does look as if this B-tech arm is the best around at the moment.

I agree it does seem like a fair few quid but to be honest whenh you see it you'll understand why. It's extremely well made (very sturdy) and does a great job. Well worth it in my opinion. If you want I'll post up a couple of pics for you.

I suppose its not that bad at £80. Some of the stands I have seen though at like £500 for some metal to attach a tv to a wall.

I ought to start up my own business hehe.

Brackets are an absolute rip off! You could buy an entire weight training bench made out of exactly the same stuff for less than some of these little pieces of cast steel cost I just bought one for my new 26" LCD for the living room but did some serious shopping around before opening my wallet

Are these not the same thing?

Edit: Actually it looks like the cheaper one cant take as much weight. My LE32M51B comes in at around 18Kg with stand attached. Thus it should only be around 16kg. I guess it is worth getting the one that can take more weight though.

Your right about the weight training bench though Thunder hehe

Well just had a few mins spare so here's the pics I offered to post up. I have to kind of agree that brackets are a bit pricey in general but I do feel this one offers me exactly what I was after so I was happy to pay for it. The one thing however that really was pricy was the VESA 200 adaptor plate needed for my samsung which at £20 for a bit of pressed steel with a few holes in it seemed well exesive. In the end I couldn't be bothered waiting for it to come so it was out with the B&D workmate and I made my own using a bit of wood !!!. Might seem a bit risky but the bolts pass straight through it so it's kind of sandwhiched between the telly and the bolt head/arm plate so it's deffo going nowhere. If you need the VESA plate for yours you can have mine for £20 delivered (think I've still got some of the right diameter bolts for it too) .
Pic 1 shows the arm fully (45cm) extended.
Pic 2 shows the large wing nut and cup type attachment which allows for the TV to be tilted and even rotated / swivelled (I particularly wanted this for vertical shooters on my consoles and it's great) in ANY direction
Pic 3 shows the arm folded back (depth is aprox 10cm in this position)
Pic 4 shows the TV rotated sligtly just to give a further idea as to the movement in case it wasn't too clear.

thinking quite strongly about getting one of the arms. Although, cable management must be a bit of a pest.

What have you got it mounted on to there?

I think i'd be attaching it straight to the wall but then I dont entirely know how to find the best spot to attach it to on the wall.

Mine has bolts passing through a verticaly mounted wooden pillar which in turn is fixed to the floor with angle brackets and a roof joist (it's in my loft) using a heavy duty hinge to obtain the correct angle (see pic). Cable management is fine as on each pivot of the arm (most visable on pic 3 of my previous post) there are plastic clips with slots which allow for you to be able to zip tie the cables to it, a nice touch I thought and another example of it's well thought out design. Any idea as to what your wall is built from (brick, breezeblock, plasterboard etc) ???.

Hi Yannic

Very sorry for the s-l-o-w reply I've been really busty the last few days. Is the wall that you're wanting to mount it to the one that's currently behind the set ?, and if so is it an exterior wall ?.

The BT7515 wall mount with the BT7502 plate to up it to a 200x200 plate.

Nice one mate. I don't think you'll be disapointed with it at all but do bare in mind you need a Vesa 200 mounting bracket to go with it. I've still got one for sale (never got round to advertising it!!) if you haven't ordered one already.
