mounting a philips 32pf9830 on a pedestal stand

Advice please......

I've bought a pedestal stand for my lovely philips 32pf9830 however the stand has a VESA mounting plate and the TV is not VESA compliant.

I've tried to screw the wall mounting bracket that came with the tv to the mounting plate but this doesnt work as the weight is unevenly distributed and the tv tilts forward. I would appear to need some kind of mounting plate/adaptor.... Philips have been their usual help .... ie NONE

Any suggestions....

this http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...er/5344699.htm is the stand by the way

the only best way would be to get a adaptor plate made
to fit to the tv and to the stand you have.

ild sooner get it done right then have the TV fall over or off the stand.
