Argos Sale - Sapporo glass stand - £40

I though this was a bargain so went to buy one this morning...

Though it is cheap it looks good when together and is perfect for my Samsung 32" LCD.
Heres the link...

Bit surprised there are no replies to this... yet lots of views. Has anyone else brought one?

I have mine fitted up now....with my TV, amp, DVD recorder and Xbox in place....

It looks really good and for £35 (I already had a £5 voucher) it is fantastic value for money.

The glass is not quite as green as the picture above shows, it is a slight frosted green effect, the top sheet of glass is a very sturdy 10mm thick, the remaining glass is 5mm.

I don't think these will be around for long....

Also noticed they sell a matching set of Sapporo nest of tables... but these are still at the usual price of £60

Thanks m8!

Been looking for a stand for ages for my 42" plasma, suits it lovely.
Also bought the coffee table, and AV rack too.

Managed to find them at an Argos close by, but not many in stock, as in I bought the last one in most cases.

Thanks again.

No prob mate.... it's cheap and cheerful but does the job and looks like it's worth much more than £40 so I'm still happy with mine

Now I think I`ve gone over the top. wires need a good sorting out, and only just finished, but is much better than it was. I had a red plastic table as a coffee table up until today.

Thats strange.... your stand looks different to mine....

Overall same heigh I think but the distance on mine between the bottom and middle shelf looks less...

Have you stretched the images?

the distance between the two shelves is 225mm..also it looks wider... the top shelf is 990mm wide...

The other units look really good too.

My top shelf distance is 150mm.

width is the same I think.

Overall height is 500mm

I like the way it tapers back at the top, same as the tv stand does.

Kids eh!!

Mine is 500mm high I think... but I vaguely remeber the picture on the Argos website looking like yours... but the dimensions matched mine....

Judging by the two pictures I'd say the overall dimension will be different between each but we can check that....either way....short or tall... they look good in my opinion.... my girlfriend likes the Audio unit too.... how much was that one?..... I don't think it was reduced.

Another rubbish picture by myself, I couldn`t find anything as crap as Matilda, but I REALLY tried

The AV unit was £55, and the coffee table was £50 if I remember correctly.

But both seem thin on the ground in my area.

Just had a measure, mine is 660mm high from ground to top , strange, but its a perfect height for the seating position.

I wonder if they`ve given me the wrong one, although there is only one on the site
