Denon DHT-500SD Speaker Stands??

Hi Folks,

I'm looking to buy a Denon DHT-500SD home Cinema package, however I'm having a problem sourcing speaker stands for it. I've tried in a few local shops even Comet where they sell the Denon, but no one seems to sell stands for the Denon DHT-500SD, which mount from bottom and not the back.

Can anyone point me in the right direction, prefrably I'd like some with glass bottoms on pins / points.

Regards
Mark

Hi there,

I'm not sure if this will be helpful to you other than a word to the wise. I have the same system as you. I have two "Denon speaker stands" that I paid fifty or sixty quid for some months ago. These are by a well known manufacturer whose name escapes me at the moment. They are made of aluminium tubing with a circular stand. The cables can be run up the inside of the stand and they are height adjustable. However, they've been a great disappointment to us. The speaker mounts to the speakers are very fragile. In fact it is almost impossible to mount them so that the speakers are vertically aligned. I don't recommend them. I'll see if I can find a makers name if you like.

Cheers.
