Recommendations rqd on 120-130cm spkr stands

Hi

Can anyone recommend some rear speaker stands around 120-130cm high? I've just had my wall nicely re-plastered so I don't want to go making holes in it for brackets. I have Eltax Linear Response 5.1 speakers i.e. the wedge-shaped ones at the rear. The tallest stands I've seen are around a meter but I need more to get above sofa/head height.

Thanks!

V

I've got some 1m tall Atacama's (SE1000 I think) They are vely solid and I'm not sure you'll find anything taller that provides the same sort of support. Have you considered getting the 1m ones and making a plinth for them. You could use 30cm square paving blocks (very cheap from Wickes/B&Q). If they are hidden behind a sofa the looks won't matter. If they are on show then you could wrap them in fabric/carpet or make a wodden box to slot over them.

Thanks for the ideas! Sadly the sofa is right up against the wall with a small table at each side so the stands will have to be placed beyond those as well. That means they're very much on show.

The search continues....
