Alphason AD3/105S into a AD4/105S ???

well its finnerly done........

the stand conversion........

brought 2 of these stands from currys a little while ago....
real nice but... bottom shelf was just to deep.....
waste of good space i thought..

so i took them both apart and modded it.

to make a 4 layer glass stand..

i dunno yet wot im going to do with the remaining 2 pieces of glass
and silver tubes.... i could make a 2 layer glass stand with it.... and flog it on.. or keep them bits for spares... il see.

here are some pics...

Nice job, I too have an Alphason (live very close to their factory in Atherton, Lancs), i needed the big bottom shelf for my Tannoy centre speaker which is huge, but you have made a really good job of yours.

ty hudson..

i found the bottom shelf way to big.. i had the vcr and STB on there with the small ps2 squeezed inbetween.......

and with the dvd recorder and av receiver on middle shelf. with tannoy center speaker between them..... it was full

so adding extra shelf has made all the difference for me....

it wasnt hard to convert..... just need the extra tubes and glass... and slightly longer 8mm threaded rod.
