Stand Required For 50" Plasma

Hi,

I require a stand for my 50" Plasma and it also needs to house an AV Amp, DVD Player, Sky+, media box and Xbox 360 so it'll need 2 shelves for my 5 source components.

I really want glass shelving and preferably brushed metal effect styling.

Any ideas and/or opinions would be great.

Thanks

I have also looked for a 50" stand. I ordered my plasma first as I thought it would be much quicker getting a stand than waiting on the tv.
Eventually got mine from currys online.
I have looked at the stand that suspends the tv (in comet) and it would easily accomodate the pioneer 50". As this tv is lighter than most 42" it would be fine for me. I think it would look okay. There are loads of stands in currys and comet to look at that will accomodate a 50 inch. I suggest emailing or phoning the companies who make/supply the stands with your model of tv and they will give you a better answer than me. The place you buy your tv from will normally also suggest a tv stand that will go with it so also try them.

Just spoken to Alphason. The AG94 will support a Pio 505 FDE. So long as your screen is no heavier then it shouldn't be a problem. If you're at all unsure if your screen will match the mounting bracket etc then give Alphason a call yourself. They are very easy to talk to.

Also the RRP for that stand is £350 - but they don't sell direct to us punters. Suddenly "Go-electrical"'s price seems quite reasonable.

For this stand also check these sites, price wise they're pretty competitive:

http://www.shopatdigital.co.uk/acatalog/TV_Stands.html

and

http://www.shopathills.co.uk/acatalo...ckets_329.html

Free delivery on both.

Cheers
