My KEF 2005 stands are broken!

Well, one of them anyway.

The connector that you screw the Egg speaker onto sheared in half. I bought these 2nd hand from someone and don't have the original reciept so how would I go about getting them fixed? Anyone have any dealings with KEF? I know they are usually a bit funny if you haven't bought from an authorised retailer.

Hmm, guess I must be unique.

I emailed KEF last Thursday and they haven't bothered to reply as of yet. I'll give them 3 working days before ringing them up.

All I want them to do is send out the top connector bits. No doubt they will want me to return them to an authorised dealer with a receipt or proof of purchase though.

Hi there,

I have a KEF system and the amp in the subwoofer blew on me, and the system was out of warrantee. I just phoned them up explained the problem and they just charged me £50 for a replacement board!! I’d just give them a call if I were you.
