Looking for a way to hide a 32 inch lcd

Got an RD50.

Tried to hook up the Sharp 32 inch lcd and the missus said no way.

So I need a way to disguise it.

Either cabinets, plasma lift, or ??

I might get a custom cabinet, with doors to hide the lcd. The plasma lifts start at around £1400.

seen this picture life, from £1000.
http://www.cyberselect.co.uk/product/904

Anyone got any suggestions?

or you could always go this way...

I've seen the mirror tv frames on some website. Didn't say how much they were though , pricey I bet.

But it is a possibility. The shame is we might be moving in 6 months time so don't want to alter the house in anyway.

What sort of cost is it for a custom cabinet?

EDIT

I know the price can vary buy say If I wanted to hide my 32 inch lcd in a cabinet say 120cm high. Woukd £600 be enough?

Hey.

You can get this http://www.actuators-electric.co.uk/picts/pdf_7.pdf

This is used for plasma lifts by itself, looks good, or can be used to hide stuff.

Mmm, this may be the fella for me.

Just need a cabinet to hide it in now, or a radiator cover.

So I can buy a raditaor cover, and mount this in relativley easily. I am looking to see how you would attach the LCD to it.

i remember seening a clip on the net about them mirror tv's. around 2k i think it was

as to the cabinet it depends what you wanted it made from. ?

also the width and depth of the unit too.

shame about u moving too. coz depending on the wall your tv is in front of,

i dunno the size of ur room but.. you could dry line that one wall.... and make the stud frame to suit a lcd.. extra support where needed etc. so its hidden inside the wall.

but it all depends on the room width and length... and other facters...
