Birch Wood Finish Materials?

Does anyone know where I could order the wood materials, so I could make my own custom AV stand?

I want the real thick sheets with a birch/maple wood finish.

There is a thread here that lists quite a few suppliers. I recall it mentioned either 'making a cabinet' or 'veneer supplier'.
