I urgently need a low tv stand, no more than 26cm high. Preferably it should be a corner unit and preferably it should have a shelf. I have tried searching the internet and can't find anything that low. Without it I am really constrained with what new TV I have. I about to replace my old CRT and to get what I want the stand needs to be no more than 26cm high. Anyone got any ideas ?

We've just been through the same thing - Look at techlink products - they're a little higher than you want but not much and do a corner unit variant too, though in the end we went for a straight one and settled for rotating the tv on it's stand - takes up much less space that way.

How can you fit an AVR in tht stand? Notice with alot of stands there is no height between shelves, I'm struggling to fit an onkyo 609 in a stand!! No shelf is big enough

I haven't got an AVR - and you're right, one wouldn't normally fit. My stand currently holds an HTPC, amp, DAC, modem, router, V+ box, DVD player and a couple of boxes of 3d specs.

The glass shelf in the middle is kind of optional; if you needed the extra height you could leave it out altogether.
