Quality is impossible nowadays

For gods sake.

Spend £5k+ on a Longbow plasma lift + two AV cabinets.

Missus comes home, I'm demonstrating the lift, the SECOND time I operate it the bloody plasma lift catches a wire going to the manual control for the lift, rips it out of its securing tabs (obviously in the wrong place or too few of them) and rips the cable in half, stopping the lift 4/5ths the way down.

Manage to get it back up so I can watch it, but its now unplugged.

WHAT THE HELLS HAPPENED TO QUALITY?

For the sake of a few £0.02p plastic wire retaining clips the whole things now useless until they come and fix it.

Yes the cabinets are finished to a good quality, they look lovely, but its always the DAMN STUPID TINY SMALL THINGS that always let everything down, no matter what you buy, from where.

God, I really really am fed up.

Maybe you've won the Lottery and can scrap £5ks of cabinet you've only had for < 5 hours, but I haven't and can't.

Update : Longbow came back today and repaired the snapped wire.

I'll give them credit for fast response time to problems.

I hope this problem was a rare one off and not common, cause the cabinets are lovely
