Would be very interested to hear from anyone who is thinking of selling a Spectral Catena (I'm looking for black all round finish, or black with wenge or similar end panels). Would also like to hear from anyone who knows of similar low level units (I need at least 1.8 m width - very hard to source within the UK outside BDI and Spectral!)

What sort of advice are you looking for? Is it purely the price of Spectral that's putting you off?

Have you looked at the Spectral Brick range?

BDI is not a patch on Spectral for quality.

Maybe also look into Jahnke?

Wired-man, question of availability (in reality 8-10 weeks) and, yes, price also. Brick is not long enough, nor flexible enough (woeful top cabinet shelf height!), at least with catena you can seemlessly link X2 units which is what I want to do.

Was also wondering do they ever come up on the 2nd hand market, I've yet to see one!
